Landlord Gas Safety Certificate

Buy-to-let properties are an ever-increasing market. In 1996 the government passed a law that requires landlords, who either rent part or all of a property, to have all gas household appliances, pipework and meters checked every 12 months with a landlords gas safety inspection.

Our engineers are 'gas safe' qualified to carry out landlord safety checks on all gas appliances, thus providing landlords or agents and tenants with confidence that there property is safe and to standard.

Gas Safety Inspections

Many homeowners may have found that they need proof of their gas appliances being serviced or checked to validate home insurance policies or even required to produce a certificate when a property is about to be sold, as evidence for the new homeowner.

This is not a legal requirement, however it is becoming more commonplace with homeowners.

Powerflushing

Many heating systems, over time, develop circulation or contamination problems. Telltale symptoms of this are often cold spots in radiators, noisy boilers, warm water in your roof tank, pinholes in radiators and sluggish systems.

Powerflushing is a technique, which systematically flushes through the boiler and each radiator with a chemical cleaning agent and heavy-duty magnetic filter. This removes any magnetic sludge/debris present in the boiler and radiators.

Unvented Cylinders

With increasing demand for hot water performance, we are qualified to specify and install unvented cylinders tailored to your hot water requirements. Unvented cylinders can supply mains pressure hot water without the need for noisy shower pumps and storage tanks in the loft space.

Under Floor Heating

Under floor heating is fast becoming the most popular choice for heating a home.

As well as being an extremely efficient form of heating, it means no wasted wall space.
Generally there are two types:

    1) When pipe work is laid beneath the screed at the time of building.
    2) Retrofit systems, which can be fitted on top of the existing floor without having to be buried.

Packs are available in both options, for conservatories, bathrooms, extensions and all other areas of the home.

Solar Thermal

As renewable systems are becoming increasingly more popular, its estimated that 45% of solar thermal systems are not working correctly, if at all.

We can provide a health-check on your solar system to establish GLYCOL anti-freeze levels and the PH levels and if required our team are able to repressurise or flush out.
